Problem- Special Lab equipment requires better ventilation than what a traditional snorkel can provide
Solution- mini capture and containment device
We prototype, test, then build mini containment enclosures, such as the one displayed below!
This enclosure was built to capture and contain fugitive emissions released when a smaller diameter sample lines between bomb and GC were disconnected and vented
Great Features:
- Sufficient containment exhaust so a fume hood is not needed
- Local exhaust source aids in comfort conditioning within the room around adjacent GC's
- Draws only 250 cfm with capture velocities of approximately 100 fpm
- Simple airflow indicator to ensure safety (not shown)
- Prototypes are tested before devices are built
(Why have it if it does not fulfill your containment goals?)
